Pola Rader is a Germany based director, motion artist, photographer and media artist.
2004-2009 she obtained a teaching degree for English and French philology at the Murmansk Arctic State University.
Then she moved to Germany, where in 2014 she completed her bachelor degree in film and theatre studies from the Free University of Berlin.
In 2019 Rader graduated in MA Film from University of the Fine Arts HFBK Hamburg.
In her surreal art-work Pola engages with social related issues combining elements from different cultures and times.
Rader is on the board of the association "Filmkultur Schleswig-Holstein eV." and co-founder of "multicArts" media art group.
Pola is curator of the Short Film Festival "Lokale Held'innen" in Kiel, Germany and also participates in the Project "Kinolino", including film talks and screenings for children since 2017.
