Artist Statement
Pola Rader works with moving images across film, photography and immersive media.
Her practice extends from cinematic forms into spatial and performative environments, including XR and installation.
Her work examines how memory, violence and inherited visual codes shape female subjectivity.
She engages with social and political realities, exploring marginalization, systemic violence and lived experience.
Drawing on documentary material and real conditions, she displaces and reconfigures them into a surreal form.
