Pola Rader is a Germany-based film director and visual artist with Russian roots.
2004–2009, she obtained a teaching degree in English and French philology at the Murmansk Arctic State University, Russia.
Then she moved to Germany, where in 2014 she completed her bachelor's degree in film - and theatre studies from the Free University of Berlin.
Rader received his MA in Film from the University of the Fine Arts HFBK Hamburg in 2019.
In her surreal art, Pola engages with social related issues, combining elements from different cultures and times. Her films, animations, images, and digital installations balance on the edge of realistic and fabulous aesthetics.
